If you wish to visit RKC and live in Sweden

If you are registered in Sweden and do not have private health insurance, you should first seek care for your back or neck problems with your general practitioner or at your local health center. If the doctor determines that you need an evaluation by a spine specialist, you will receive a referral to us. We also require an MRI scan performed within the last 12 months.

Once we receive your referral and our doctors have made an initial assessment based on the information in the referral, you will be invited to visit us through a digital mailbox or post. We always offer a first appointment within the healthcare guarantee time limit, more information can be found under waiting times. You can follow your referral via 1177 to see if the referral has been received and assessed.
